And here it is, the girl can sit up! She won’t roll from her back to tummy yet, but she sits (I kind of get it… why would she want to roll onto her belly? She doesn’t like it there….) Anyway, as you can see, she is also driving. I told you. BIG!

So much is going on around here and I haven’t had the time or energy to really write about it!

This little girl is just getting too big too fast! She is 6 1/2 months already! I can’t believe it.

So, she loves her rice cereal. I waited a little bit longer to start giving it to (mostly because I didn’t have the time…) and she was so ready. She couldn’t wait for the next bite. She grabs the spoon and tries to put it in her mouth if you aren’t quick enough.

We love our little rice cereal eating Paige-pie. Next up, our little sitting up Paige-pie. I told you… she is growing up too fast!!

Today was a big day for Ethan. Six years old. It is hard to believe it has been that long and that he is so big. Yet at the same time, it seems like he has always been here with us. He had a fun day today. He got to celebrate at school with his friends, had phone calls and presents delivered throughout the day and made himself a dinner of quesadillas (his choice) and vanilla funfetti cake with chocolate frosting (which he later decided not to eat due to his stomach not liking sweets right now-his words). He had been sick this last weekend and is still recovering a bit, I think. Luckily, our plans to play hooky yesterday and go to Disneyland were not affected. I will try to post more on that later.

It’s taken me a bit to get around to sharing about Halloween. We had a fun day. We ended up spending the evening with our community group friends from church. It was a lot of fun to eat a meal together, carve pumpkins, then head out to Trick or Treat. Ethan and Tegan were beyond excited and had a great day. They were able to draw pretty cool faces on their pumpkins and really take part in the carving this year. Tegan’s is the one on the left, Paige’s is in the middle (daddy helped a bit) and Ethan’s on the right. Mario and our buzzy bee got way too much candy and looked completely adorable. They are already trying to think of costumes for next year!

My life is a whirlwind and I am just barely keeping up. But honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. I love the stages my kids are at and am enjoying each one of them. I guess I wouldn’t mind if they stopped growing up so fast!

This past Sunday we made our annual trip to Bates Nut Farm. Our sixth year. It was a rainy day and we almost didn’t go. I am so glad we did. The weather was perfect (actually like fall unlike many other years). It is so very hard to get a picture of all three kids where one of them isn’t looking away or crying or making a funny face. So here is a picture that about sums it up. Ethan is taking it all in, Tegan is being her lovie self, and Paige. Paige is such a sweet little gal. She puts up with so much and does it with a happy heart. Love them.

Ethan will be six in a little over a month. Kindergarten is going great. He loves his teacher and has lots of friends and is learning like crazy.

Tegan is 3 1/2. She was just the flower girl in a friend’s wedding and had the time of her life. She was lovely in her little dress with her flower petals.

Paige is almost 4 months old and I just can’t handle it. She is super baby and we all adore her to pieces. She is growing like a weed and I can’t handle it. She is the smiliest, cuddliest, cutest little thing.

I am trying to savor each moment, each hug and kiss and funny little song and story because I know before I know it, they will be off on their own, grown up and independent and I will miss this sweet time!

Here is one that melts my heart. The way she is looking at him and him at her just shows how much they love each other. Ethan is very patient with her and very loving towards her. He wants to hold her all the time, something she really isn’t into for some reason. He also always wants to touch her head. Not sure why, but I feel like I am constantly telling him to keep his hands off of her head. Anyway, it’s super sweet and I really hope their relationship stays just like this for always.
